Windholz joins Lindsborg Realty
Gina Windholz, of rural Marquette, Kanopolis Lake area, has joined Lindsborg Realty as a new salesperson.
Gina’s family, the Hughes, was one of the first settlers in the Kanopolis Lake area in southeast Ellsworth County. Farming has been in her family for six generations starting in the 1880s. Ellis Hughes migrated from Venango County, Pa., to the Kanopolis Lake area. He had the Venango Post Office, where the Venango Beach sits today.
Today, Gina’s husband manages the farm of wheat, milo, soybeans, and a cow calf operation.
Gina will be serving Lindsborg, Marquette, and the Kanopolis Lake area, and hopes to be able to market rural properties, as well.
Her telephone number is (785) 546-7002 or e-mail gina@lindsborg-realty.com.

Matkin has been a living historian and an independent scholar for almost 25 years.
Her presentation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and there is no charge. The event is part of this year’s celebration to recognize the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
