The Ellsworth County Cancer Fund annual Triathalon will be from 6 p.m. Friday, June 11, until 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Shanelec Football Stadium in Ellsworth. Proceeds from the triathalon will be used to help cancer patients in Ellsworth County.

The ECCF committee met on Monday, March 22, at Reliant Roofing, Ellsworth, to start planning this year’s event. Team leader letters and corporate sponsor letters have been sent out and a committee person will be contacting you soon. The committee is looking for more businesses, organizations, churches or families to form teams for the event and help raise money for Ellsworth County residents battling cancer.

The committee will conduct its next meeting at 5 p.m., Monday, April 12, followed by the team captain meeting at 6 p.m. at High Jinks Rec Club, Ellsworth. Anyone interested in becoming a committee member, wishes to form a team or be part of a team, should attend either of these meetings or call Season or Deb at Reliant Roofing at (785) 472-3900.
