Robert ‘Ben’ Murrell, DO, was one of 234 medical students who received the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree from Kansas City University (KCU) in Kansas City during a Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

He was also one of 30 KCU graduates who earned a concurrent Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Leadership from Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management during the same ceremony. Dr. Murrell, the son of Robert and Jina Murrell of

Dr. Murrell, the son of Robert and Jina Murrell of Ellsworth, graduated from Ellsworth High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Kansas State University.

Dr. Murrell is currently completing his residency in general surgery with St. Mary’s/KCU-Graduate Medical Education Consortium in Kansas City, Mo.
