EMS DEVELOPS AED APP FOR PUBLIC USE

By

Ellsworth County EMS Director Nathan Florian had some interesting health safety news for county commission Monday during the weekly meeting.

Florian said he is working with Pulse Point AED to make an app available to the public showing a map of automated external defibrillators available in Ellsworth County and across the state.

The public can download the app and if they see one anywhere in Kansas, they can enter the location so it can be tracked.

• No action was taken after a 10-minute executive session with County Appraiser Carl Miller to discuss contract negotiations involving Pattern Energy, owner of the Post Rock Wind Farm.
