COACH & FOUR 30 YEARS OLD
The Coach and Four Bowling Lanes will be observing its 30th anniversary this Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. The lanes are owned by Mr. and Mrs. Rick Seiler. Mrs. Seiler (Abby) was nearly one year old when her father and other investors opened the lanes in 1961.
The rather unusual name came from the fact that when it was built, Gail (Pep) Shanelec was the coach at Ellsworth High School, and there were four other investors at the time. Shanelec’s daughter, Abby, is owner-operator now with her husband, Rick Seiler.
