First Kansas to close Lorraine branch

Paul Snapp, president/chief executive officer of First Kansas Bank, has announced the last day of operation at the First Bank Kansas in Lorraine will be Sept. 3.

“First Kansas Bank has performed a comprehensive study and analysis of traffic in our Lorraine Bank and made the decision to relocate all staff and operations to 123 Main Street in Claflin,” Snapp said. “We believe by having a larger staff in one location, we can take better care of our customers. We are extremely pleased with the staff in our Lorraine Bank. Our intent in this transition is to retain each of them. Our Claflin Bank is large enough to accommodate all of the Lorraine and Claflin staff. We regret that this relocation may cause an inconvenience for some customers.”

“This relocation will not change account numbers, online access or any other products and services that we provide to consumer or commercial customers.”
