The Kanopolis City Council has approved the Ellsworth County mask mandate.

During a Nov. 25 special meeting, council members approved the mandate after Mayor Anthony Hopkins said he received a note from city attorney Patrick Hoffman explaining the measures the city could take regarding the mandate.
