The recipients of the Frank J. Svoboda & Frances J. Svoboda Medical Scholarship for the 2020-21 school year have been announced:

Nursing — Amanda Miles;

Physician/Family Medicine — Joshua Bair; Pre-Medicine — Jordyn Coonrod, Kristen Watson.

The scholarships are for legal residents of Ellsworth County who are pursing an education in the field of medicine of a nursing degree, nursing certificate or a medical doctor degree.

Recipients of the Art Hohl Scholarship for the 2020-21 school year:

Medical Diagnostic Imaging — Hannah Wilson; Nursing — Amanda Miles; Physical Therapy — Jordan Base; Physician Assistant — Mackenzi Choitz; Physician/Family Medicine — Joshua Bahr, Physician/Osteopathic Medicine — Robert Murrell.

The scholarships are for graduates of Ellsworth High School who are pursing an education in medicine, including but not limited to doctors, dentists, optometry, osteopathic degrees, nursing degrees and certificates.

Recipients of the Christine A. Dolechek Medical Scholarship Trust Fund for the 2020-21 school year:

Health Services Administration — Westin Hughes; Medical Diagnostic Imaging — Hannah Wilson; Nursing — Amanda Miles; Physical Therapy — Jordan Base; Physician Assistant — Mackenzi Choitz; Physician/Family Medicine — Joshua Bahr; Physician/ Osteopathic Medicine — Robert Murrell; Pre-Medicine — Jordyn Coonrod; Speech Language Pathology — Jessie Graves, Breanna Pruitt, Sydney Wilson.
