Claflin students earn honors

Several area students are among the 1,596 students named to the Deans Honor Roll for the fall 2019 semester by deans at Fort Hays State University: The Dean’s Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.60 for the semester. Ellsworth students were listed in an earlier edition of the I-R: Claflin: Layne Charles Bieberle is a senior majoring in technology studies (construction management). Julie Lynn Donecker is a sophomore majoring in education. Kylie Holmes is a junior majoring in education. Kylee Ann Kasselman is a junior majoring in nursing. Kylie Kay Lamatsch is a sophomore majoring in nursing. Brett Joseph Liebl is a freshman majoring in health and human performance (sport and exercise therapy). Devin T. Ryan is a freshman majoring in health and human performance. Michael James Ryan is a senior majoring in health and human performance (K-12 teaching and coaching). Kaycee Steiner is a senior majoring in health and human performance (sport and exercise therapy).

Ellsworth students recognized

Ellsworth students Kaden Davis and Cheyenne Hellebust earned spots on the Academic Honor Roll at Northwest Missouri State University at the end of the 2019 fall semester. To be included on the Academic Honor Roll, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a grade-point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll have attained a perfect 4.0 GPA for the trimester.

KSU students earn academic honors

More than 4,220 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the fall 2019 semester. Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least 12 graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans. The honors also are recorded on their permanent academic records. Ellsworth: Kailee Landon, Kara Rodriguez and Janae Schulte. Lorraine: Audrey Boeken. Wilson: Ethan Dlabal and Lukas Sebesta. Brookville: Mika Bolton, Meghan Diehl, Tristan Ptacek. Sylvan Grove: James Thaemert. Bushton: Chelsey Bieberle. Geneseo: Clayton Bettenbrock.

Salina Tech lists honor roll names

Salina Tech announces fall honor roll Salina Area Technical College has announced its honor roll for the fall semester of 2019. The honor roll includes two levels. The President’s Honor Roll is for students who were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of classes, and had a GPA of 4.0. The Dean’s Honor Roll is for students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.
