Telemetry system purchase gets nod
WILSON — The Wilson City Council approved the purchase of a new telemetry system for the city water wells from Don’s Electric to the exceed $70,000 during Monday’s meeting.
It was the first purchase made from the $112,000 Wilson received in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Mayor Mike Peschka noted parts for the current system can no longer be purchased so it was imperative the system be replaced.
