WILSON — After a brief public hearing Monday, the Wilson City Council approved a resolution to proceed with a loan application from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to fund a sewer lagoon project.

The council also approved a contract with the North Central Regional Planning Commission in Beloit to provide administrative services for the project at a cost of $4,500.

The cost of the project is estimated at $650,000.
