WILSON — The June 16 Wilson Community Blood Drive fell short of the goal of 20 pints by just one pint, according to drive oordinator Wilma Olds.

Those giving blood were Tommy Berger, David Criswell, Anthony Demel, Aaron Dlabal, Larry Foster, Ray Homeier, Susan Kriley, Ted Long, Phillip Mieszala, Clay Rupp, Mark Spears, Richard Staudinger, Dan Steinike, Jake Stoppel, Scott Ward, Eldon Whitmer, Charlene Zelenka and Jerry Zelenka.

The First Baptist Church donated the use of their facility as well as lunch for donors.

Volunteers were Kathy Arnold, Lisa Major, Michelle McVey, Phillip Mieszala, Charlene Zelenka and Jerry Zelenka.

The next Wilson Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 14, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, K-232 and Old Highway 40, Wilson.
