Russell High School has been selected to host one of the four Class 3-2-1A Regional Wrestling Tournaments in February.

Postseason assignments were announced Monday, Dec. 16, by the Kansas State High School Activities Association.

Teams competing in Russell’s regional include Russell, Republic County, Beloit, Bennington, Ell-Saline, Canton-Galva, Ellsworth, Southeast of Saline, Halstead, Hillsboro, Hoisington, Kingman, Fairfield, Larned, Lincoln, Lyons, Rock Hills, Minneapolis, St. John-Hudson, Stafford, Sterling and Sylvan-Lucas.

Council Grove, Eureka and Norton are hosting the other three 3-2-1A regionals. All those regionals will be held Feb. 21-22.

The top four finishers in each weight class from each regional advance to the state tournament in Hays Feb. 28-29.
