The Central Plains Tennis Meet was Monday, April 19, with three schools participating — Central Plains, Meade, and Ellsworth.

Both of the Ellsworth doubles teams placed first.

Doubles team No. 1 is Adam Vehring and Brendan Anderson.

Doubles team No. 2 is Chase Bourbon and Jaret Brungardt.

The Central Plains No. 1 doubles team of Karter Beck and Gus Menges placed second.

Peyton Ryan, Central Plains No. 1 singles player captured a first place medal.

Ellsworth plays at Abilene, Larned and Hoisington (Great Bend) before the May 7 regional.

The Oilers are at Hoisington, Hesston and Pratt before regional.
