CPHS graduate to participate in Annual 8 Man All Star Games
BELOIT — A recent graduate of Central Plains High School will suit up for the 37th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games which will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 11.
Cole Lamatsch, Central Plains, has been selected for the Division II West Squad.
The Division I game will be held at 10 a.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pre-game will begin at 9:30 a.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Pep Rally and refreshments for the players, coaches and fans at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 10 at Chautauqua Park, Beloit.
Lamatsch is a 2022 graduate of Central Plains High School and plans to attend college at NCK Tech.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: All League First Team DB/PR/Utility Back junior and senior years; All sTate Honorable Mention WR junior and senior years.
Team accomplishments include 2018 Freshman year undefeated state playoffs champs 13-0, 2020 District Runner up with an 8-2 record.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include placing 8th in the mile at state track freshman year, 4th in mile at state track junior year, 2nd overall state powerlifting junior year.
Hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing and sports. School activities and honors include Honor Student, Valedictorian, O-Club president, FFA president, NHS member. Cole’s parents are Sonya and Greg Lamatsch, Claflin.
