Injuries slow Lady Dragons
The Lady Dragons faced the Pike Valley Panthers Monday night at the Northern Plains League Basketball Tournament at Lincoln.
And even though the contest ended with Pike Valley winning 34 to 26, the Lady Dragons kept on fighting.
Coach Bob Powers said his team did really well considering he only had five of his six-member team to draw from.
At one point in the game the Lady Dragons were down to three players due to an injury, but fortunately one of the players was able to come back into the game.
Coach Powers said the Lady Dragons continue to learn and each time they get a little better.
Game statistics were not available by press time.
The Lady Dragons will play at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Tescott against Natoma.
Wilson plays again at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Tescott against Lakeside.
