The Wilson Lady Dragons volleyball team recently competed in the Northern Plains League High School Volleyball Tournament. Thunder Ridge placed first in the tournament, with St. John’s/Tipton second, Lakeside third, and Pike Valley fourth. In the Dragons pool play: Tescott defeated Natoma, 25-11, 25-10. Rock Hills defeated Wilson, 25-23, 15-23 and 13-25. Tescott defeated Southern Cloud, 25-21 and 25-15. Wilson defeated Natoma, 25-16, 25-17. Tescott defeated Rock Hills, 25-10, 21-25, 25-21. Southern Cloud defeated Wilson, 25-19, 25-11. Tescott defeated Wilson, 25-21, 25-16. Rock Hills defeated Natoma, 25-13, 25-14. Southern Cloud defeated Rock Hills, 25-18, 25-16. Southern Cloud defeated Natoma, 25-14, 25-21. In the semi-finals, Thunder Ridge defeated Pike Valley, 25-10, 25-19. Beloit-St John’s Tipton defeated Lakeside 25-18, 25-12. In the third place match, Lakeside defeated Pike Valley, 25-13, 25-23. In the championship match Thunder Ridge defeated Beloit-Beloit-St. John’s/ Tipton 25-19, 25-18.
