Ellsworth’s Teagon Nienke took 1st place in his weight category Friday at the Hoisington Cardinal Classic wrestling tournament.

Other Bearcat wrestlers also came home with medals:

* Eryk Andalon 2nd (145 lbs.)

* Loden West 3rd (152 lbs.)

* Brad Vopat 3rd (160 lbs.)

* Tyler Romero 4th

(Romero took first place a week before in his 195-pound weight category at the Lamed Wrestling Invitational.)
