Oilers fall to Pratt-Skyline 46-0
The Central Plains Junior-Senior High School Oilers took another step backwards Friday, being defeated by the Pratt-Skyline Thunderbirds, 46-0. It was the fourth loss for head coach Chris Steiner and his Oilers squad for the 2019 season. Defensively, the Oilers were led by Karter Beck, William Laymon and Tyler Holmes, each with four unassisted tackles. Laymon and Holmes each had three assisted tackles, while Beck had one assisted tackle. Oilers Joseph Bunch, Dawson McNeal, and Matthew Donecke each contributed one unassisted tackle in the losing effort. Donecke also had an assisted tackle. Next on the schedule for the Central Plains Oilers is a road game Friday against Moundridge.
