Elva ‘Irene’ Cooper passed away to her heavenly home March 28, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the age of 90.She was born to Ralph and Elva (Weinhold) Cooper Jan. 13, 1932, in Russell County, Kan. Irene was united in marriage to Henry Hrabik Jr.

Carrie Lyn Caplinger, 47, passed away April 2, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.She was born Sept. 1, 1974 in Larned, the daughter of Donna Sue Caplinger.She was a lifetime Larned resident; moving to Ellsworth in 1999.

Bobby D. Priddy, Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his home in Holyrood, Kan.He was born Sept. 9, 1946, in Hinton, Okla. to Coy C. and Joan R. (Reeder) Priddy.

Lois M. Hinton, 86, passed away March 23, 2022 in Ellsworth.She was born Sept. 22, 1935 in Springfield, Colo. to John E. and Lula (Meltabarger) Henley.Lois married Francis Hinton in Raton, N.M. on Sept, 4, 1955. She worked as an office assistant at the ordinance depot in Pueblo, Colo.

Raymond “Dale” Gustus, 86, of Geneseo, Kan., passed away March 22, 2022, at Hospital District 1 of Rice County, Lyons.He was born Jan. 2, 1936, in Geneseo, the son of Cyryl and Olive Roby Gustus.Dale was a lifelong Geneseo resident. He graduated from Geneseo High School with the class of 1954.

Virginia ‘Ginny’ Leigh Deiser, 55, died peacefully on March 20, 2022, in Hutchinson, Kan.She was preceded in death by her father Paul Magliery.She is survived by her loving family including husband of 25 years, Timothy Deiser, of Hutchinson, Kan.

John W. McCreight, Sr. passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022. John was born May 15, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of Clarence and Genevieve (Gillis) McCreight.He is survived by his two sons, John (Jay) McCreight, Jr.

Judy Ellen Lyne Blouin, 81, was called to her heavenly home on Feb. 17, 2022, at a private Hospice Healthcare home in Las Vegas, Nev.Judy was born to Russell and Rosaline Lyne in Ellsworth on June 28, 1940.

Rose Marie Dolezal, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Ellsworth, Kan.She was born Feb. 23, 1932 in Ellsworth, Kan. to Charles and Albina (Vodraska) Wanek. Rose Marie married Raymond J. Dolezal, Sept. 23, 1952, in Ellsworth, Kan.She worked many years at the Ellsworth FSA office.

Gary Dale Bruning, 66, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, in Wilson, Kan.He was born Feb. 27, 1956, in Ellsworth, Kan. to Orval and Hazel (Schultz) Bruning.Gary is survived by sister, Donna Flannery of Shermans Dale, Pa.; brother, Michael Bruning of Ellsworth; sister, Nancy Bruning of Cody, Wyo.
