Leo Wm. Oberle, 80, of Lorraine, Kan., went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Ellsworth County Medical Center in Ellsworth, Kan.Leo was born Sept. 14, 1941 in rural Bushton, Rice County, Kan. He was the second son of Ambrose and Mary (Reif) Oberle.

Ronald Dale Anderson of Beaverton, Ore., passed away surrounded by family on Jan. 10, 2022 at University Hospital in Columbia Mo.He was born March 10, 1947 in Harrison, Ark. to Myrtle (Fortner) and Nels Anderson.Ron grew up in Elkhart and Holyrood, Kan. and graduated from Elkhart, Kan.

Jeanetta Rose Schendel passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at the age of 71 in Olathe, Kan.She was born Jan. 14, 1950, to Jesse and Melba (Kindlesparger) Whitmer in Carrollton, Mo. Jeanetta was united in marriage to Albert Schendel on July 30, 1979, at the Wilson Methodist Church.

Anna Marie Heinz Habiger, 104, of Bushton, Kan., passed away Jan. 9, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society of Ellsworth, Kan. with her family by her side.She was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Bushton, the daughter of John and Lucy (Zink) Heinz.

Larry Barta passed away peacefully after his struggle with cancer on Jan. 9, 2022 in his Virginia Beach, Va. home.Born in Ellsworth, Kan. on May 14, 1948 to Kenneth and Lorene Barta. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and settled in Virginia Beach, Va.

Timothy ‘Tim’ L. Watson, 37, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at his home in Ellsworth, Kan.He was born Sept. 29, 1984, in Hutchinson, Kan. to Lyndon Watson and Lori (Casey) Watson.Tim was the owner of Tin-Man Technologies in Ellsworth where he built and repaired computers.

Orena G. Allen, 76, of Salina, Kan., passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.She was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Robert and Rosa (Schlesener) Voeltz.Orena spent more than 25 years caring and loving on the kids in her childcare.

Twila G. Mitchell, 91, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, in Salina, Kan.She was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Lincoln County, Kan. to Louis and Emma (Plinsky) Peterman.Twila was a longtime resident of Ellsworth, where she married Richard D. Mitchell Nov. 8, 1952.
