Charlotte Collins, 62, Ellsworth, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Ellsworth County Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1958 to Bobby K. and Mildred LaFaye (Woods) Hudson. Charlotte was a graduate of Minneapolis High School and she was working at Walmart in Salina at the time of her death.

Fred E. Butler, 72, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, in Wichita. He was born April 7, 1948 in Goodland, Kan. to Lawrence and Ellen (Motsinger) Butler. Fred served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for many years, including service in the Vietnam War.

Richard D. Blackburn passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at the Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. He was born Feb. 5, 1937 in Ellsworth, Kan. the son of Paul and Dorothy (Pohle) Blackburn. He graduated from Ellsworth High School and from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy.

Charles W. Perkins, 62, passed away Dec. 26, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka. He was born July 3, 1958 at Ellsworth, to Charlie ‘Choc’ and Elda (Janzen) Perkins. He married Leslie Perkins April 22, 1978 at Ellsworth.

Bonnie Jean Bushell Frederking, 81, was born May 15, 1929 in rural Wilson, Kan. to Ray and Irene (Sanders) Bushell. She was the youngest of three children. When Bonnie was 10, the family moved to Wilson. She attended Wilson public schools until her junior year. Bonnie married Arnold Frederking Nov.

Gloria T. Ploutz, 71, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 in Lyons, Kan. She was born July 7, 1949 in Ellsworth to Thelbert and Darlene (Bedwell) Janzen. Gloria married Karl Ploutz in Lorraine, Kan. May 22, 1971.

Evelyn M. Brichacek passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at the Pinnacle Park Nursing Home in Salina, Kan., at the age of 104. She was born on Sept. 28, 1916 to Frank and Mary (Wanek) Barta in Ellsworth, Kan. Evelyn was united in marriage to Fred Brichacek.

Dr. Eugene C. ‘Bud’ Jarus, 91, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020. He was born Jan. 16, 1929 at home in Wilson, Kan., the only child of Emil C. and Mayme E. (Soukup) Jarus.

Isabelle ‘Bonnie’ Tripp, 79, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 in Ellsworth. She was born May 14, 1941 in Kanopolis to Isabelle ‘Mike’ Perez and Carrie (Grise) Perez. Bonnie was a lifetime resident of Kanopolis where she was a dedicated member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.

Joy Lee Warner, 82, passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 in Ellsworth. She was born Oct. 13, 1938 in El Dorado, Kan. to Wilbert “Dutch” Schriver and Ruby (Hogg) Schriver. Joy Lee married Gary Warner Jan. 3, 1957 in Lorraine, Kan.
