Morris Edward Galliart passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, at the Ellsworth County Medical Center in Ellsworth, Kan., at the age of 87. Morris was born March 25, 1933 to David and Lydia (Mikulecky) Galliart in Wilson, Kan. Morris grew up in Wilson where he attended Wilson schools.

Darrel Norman Atwood, 98, passed away May 12, 2020. He was born March 2, 1922 in Gridley, Kan., the son of Richard and Mabel Atwood. He graduated High School at Holyrood, Kan., residing with Mr. and Mrs. Dee Moege. He entered the Army at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., serving at Ft. Knox, Ky.

Edward F. Kluber, Jr., age 90, of Paola, Kan., passed away June 1, 2020. Ed was born Sept. 5, 1929 in Wilson, Kan. to Edward F. Kluber and Alta Kramer Kluber. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1947. Ed was a veteran of the Korean war. He served four years in the United States Navy.

Vella Mae Kraft Jantz, 91, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Wichita, Kan. She was born Jan. 2, 1929 in Wichita to Walter and Alma (Mehl) Kingan. Vella Mae was a longtime Holyrood, Kan. resident, living there since age four. She married Clarence Kraft in Holyrood Dec. 8, 1948.

Gary W. Belt, 72, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at his home in Ellsworth. He was born Dec. 24, 1947 in Ellsworth to Elmer Belt and Charldene “Elsie” (Kanak) Belt. Gary was a lifelong resident of Ellsworth where he graduated from Ellsworth High School. He married Mary Ann Nondorf March 23, 1968.

Deborah Beatty Blythe, 69, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, in Salina, Kan. She was born Jan. 17, 1951 in Herrington, Kan. to Keith and Ellen (Beatty) Blythe.

George “Dan” Daniel Potts Jr., of Emporia, Kan., passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the age of 87. Dan was born to parents George Sr. and Hesse (Smith) Potts Feb. 18, 1933 in Dunivan, Kan. near Valley Falls.

Frances J. (Vopat) Claussen passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the Ellsworth County Medical Center in Ellsworth, Kan., at the age of 86. She was born on March 8, 1934 in rural Lincoln County, Kan. to Joseph G. and Pauline M. (Kral) Vopat.  Frances attended Mt.

Larry Dean Malir, 85, of Overland Park, Kan. joined his Lord in heaven May 16, 2020 due to natural causes. Larry was born Dec. 25, 1934 in Ellsworth, Kan. the son of James H. and Mary M. (Warta) Malir.
