Marilyn Ann Lonsky passed away April 12, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society nursing home, Ellsworth Kan.  Marilyn was born May 30, 1938 to Milo Evans and Kathryn Trost Evans in Minneapolis, Minn. Marilyn grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis Vocational School in 1956.

Al (Albert) T. Herrman, 86, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in Lindsborg, Kan. He was born Jan. 1, 1934 in Liebenthal, Kan. to Nicholas and Veronica (Legleiter) Herrman. Al married Mary L. Brungardt Sept. 8, 1956 in Hays, Kan. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Sherry Sue Ford of Wilson, Kan. passed away April 12, 2020 in Hutchinson, Kan., at the age of 68. She was born July 31, 1951 to Eldon and Helen (Small) Lingo in Ellsworth, Kan. Sherry was united in marriage to Steve Ford Dec. 31, 1970 in Loomis, Neb.

Nancy Luciene Bircher, 73, left her earthly home with her husband David by her side, and entered her heavenly home with her Savior by her side, on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Nancy was born Dec. 11, 1946 in Ellsworth to L.M. “Hank” and Helen Mar (Hysell) Herrington.

Wayne Fredrick Siemsen died at the age of 62 as a result of an auto accident March 30, 2020 in Godley, Texas. Wayne was born Sept. 27, 1957 to Helmer and Verona (Peterman) Siemsen.  Wayne graduated in 1976 from Ellsworth High School. He married Susan Snook May 26, 1982.

Morris Edward Galliart, 87, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, at Ellsworth County Medical Center.   Funeral services will be held at a later date.   Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home —Wilson is handling arrangements.  

Doris Louise Elizabeth VonFange, 95, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, in Salina. She was born Feb. 7, 1925 in Lincoln to Wilhelm Gottlieb and Edietha Karoline Friederika (Strathmann) Aufdemberge. Doris married Lawrence William Otto VonFange May 20, 1951 at St. John Lutheran Church, rural Lincoln.

Ila Mae Dees Andersen, 91, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020, in Ellsworth, Kan. She was born April 16, 1928 in Lorraine, Kan. to Kenneth and Neita (Mehl) Dees. Ila graduated from Stephens College in Missouri with her degree in music, and moved to Denver. There, she met Alfred “Al” V.

Janice “Jan” Ann Perkins, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020. She was born Feb. 25, 1957 in Wichita to Hillard and Ruth (Wallace) Allen. Jan was a longtime resident of Ellsworth County where she was a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, working at local hospitals and nursing homes.

Roy Lee Spears, Sr., 89, of Lyons, passed away March 27, 2020 at Total Loving Care, New Caney, Texas. He was born March 20, 1931, in Wilson, Kan., the son of Pershing Barnum and Lily Sanders Spears.  Roy moved to Texas three and a half years ago to be near his daughter.
