KANOPOLIS — Abatement hearings topped the agenda April 11, before the regular meeting of the Kanopolis City Council began.Property owner Kathy Sneath wanted to know what the council was complaining about now regarding her property, saying there are worse places in town.

USD 327 approves new district boundaries for election

Members of the USD 327 Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo School District Monday night looked ahead to the Nov. 7 general election and unanimously approved a resolution redrawing district position boundaries. The action, the result of the 2020 Census, equalizes population numbers.

Fatal crash at highway intersection
