The Ellsworth County commissioners received an update from Carl Miller, county appraiser, at Monday’s weekly meeting. Miller said he has mailed out property valuation notices and has had 23 informal hearings with property owners. “They all went really well,” he said.

Ellsworth County commissioners voted unanimously Monday to rescind the county-wide face mask mandate, after consulting with Dr. Ronald Whitmer, county health officer, and Kerianne Ehrlich, supervisor of the county health department. The mandate had been in effect since Nov. 9, 2020.
