Alan D. Falk
(1962-2026)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alan D. Falk, who passed away on Aug. 13, 2026, in Bel Aire, Kan., at the age of 64. Alan was born on May 8, 1962, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Walter and Joyce (Schwerdtfeger) Falk. He graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1980 then attended Butler County Community College. Alan worked several places, from Craftworld to Cashco and even some mail delivery, just to list a few. He loved good food, gardening, tinkering with machines or rebuilding engines and spending time on the farm where he grew up.
In 1999, Alan married Connie Tanton. They were blessed to have celebrated 27 years of love and laughter together. He was preceded in death by his parents and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Connie, brothers Brian (Laura) Falk, Ellsworth, and Gary Falk, Kanopolis, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Alan was known for his kindness, good conversations and dedication to family, friends and community. He will be forever in our hearts, always remembered and never forgotten.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug.
19, 2026, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with family present to greet visitors from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at Ellsworth Methodist Church, with burial following at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate Alan’s life.
