(1968-2026)

Patrick Shawn Perez, 58, passed away on July 26, 2026, at his home in Kanopolis, Kan. He was born on July 2, 1968, in Ellsworth to John Cleveland and Diana Petrie Perez. Although Pat had several forms of employment, he took the most pride in working at Kirkham Michael and Wear Techndoays. He enjoyed watching a project go from nothing to finished project. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing, but riding motorcycles was what he loved the most, especially after his wife, Janet, and son learned, and they were able to make it a family affair. Pat was also one of the first seven members of Ellsworth Post 174 American Legion Riders.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Angel Perez and Ruth Perez, mother Diana Petrie Perez, father John Cleveland and sister Pauline Pruitt.

He is survived by his wife Janet; son Logan Puchosic (Kaylin); sister Kandy Anacito; two foster sons, Jeremy Schmidt and Brad Eagle; and cousin Damon Pruitt.

Private family services to be held. Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kan.
