A Main Street Spook Fest takes place from 6-8:30 p.m. on Main Street in Lorraine. There will be a costume contest and free hot chocolate.
The Kanopolis Recreation Department hosts a Trick or Treat Celebration from 5:30-7 p.m. on Main Street. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be served. A prize for the best truck will be awarded.
Ellsworth Elementary School stages an 8:15 a.m. costume parade down Douglas Avenue. From 5-7 p.m.

Elaine A. ‘Blondie’ Harvey, 97, passed away Oct. 24, 2019. She was born Sept. 9, 1922 in Sioux Falls, S.D. to Iver and Amanda (Iverson) Wangsness.
