Middle school principal takes job

Following an executive session at the March 9 meeting of the Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo USD 327 School District, board members accepted the resignations of Kanopolis Middle School principal Eric Stoddard and Danica Uhl and Susan Miller as fourth grade teachers.

County, City officials take action on coronavirus

Ellsworth County commissioners took action Wednesday morning to help prevent the eventual spread of the coronavirus in Ellsworth County.  First, a resolution was approved declaring a verbal public health emergency in Ellsworth County.
