Connie Lynn (Schraeder) Harms, 62, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022. She was born April 8, 1960, in Larned, Kan., to Lee Roy and Viola (Dome) Schraeder. Growing up on a farm near Timken, Kan.

Forrest L. Salyers, Jr. (Sonny) passed away on Aug. 11, 2022, at his home in Wichita, Kan. He was born on June 9, 1948, in Norfolk, Neb. Forrest served in the U.S. Air Force, where he participated in the Vietnam Conflict, and later in the Army National Guard.

Kristi Sue Nienke, 56, of Ogden, passed away into the arms of her loving savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 18, 2022, at Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kan., with loved ones at her side. Kristi was born on April 19, 1966, at Hoisington Lutheran Hospital to Clarence and Patricia (Klima) Nienke.

Lester Dale Kubick, 86, of Kanopolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, in Salina, Kan. He was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Ellsworth County, Kan., to Frank and Carrie (Smith) Kubick. Lester married Patricia Homolka on Oct. 14, 1956, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, Kan.

Donna Mae Davis, 86, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, in Cheney, Kan. She was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Ransom, Kan., to Hillard Grant and Ruth Mae (Wallace) Allen. Being a resident of Ellsworth for the past 30 years, she also resided in Geneseo, Kan., where she raised her children.

Michelle Leigh Briscoe, 56, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at her home in Ellsworth. She was born March 3, 1966, in Iowa Falls, Ia. to Gary LeBlanc and Charlene (Williams) LeBlanc.

Scott Schroeder, 56, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, in Bushton, Kan. Scott was born Nov. 11, 1965, in Hoisington, Kan., the son of Larry and JoEllen Schroeder.  He is survived by his mother; his sisters, Shelly Densberger of Fort Collins, Colo., and Jill (Matt) Sprick of Hiawatha, Kan.

 Keen K. Brantley, age 82, passed away on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at the Comfort Care Homes attended by Phoenix Hospice in Wichita, Kan. He was born on June 29, 1940, in Almena, Kan., the son of Herbert Cayton and Wilma Flossie Walters Brantley. A resident of Scott City, Kan.

William “Billy” Errette Day, 70, of Salina, and a life-long resident of Lincoln County, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. Billy was born March 18, 1952, in Lincoln, Kan., to Wilborn “Bill” and Mary Jane Day. Billy grew up in the Westfall area attending elementary school in Lincoln and Westfall, Jr.
