Audrey “Jolene” Reynolds, 78, of Fairview, passed away Aug. 2, 2020 at Maple Heights, Hiawatha, Kan. She was born Sept. 23, 1941 to Virgil and Fern (Brown) Bunch in Barnard, Kan. Jolene grew up at the Barnard-Lincoln communities, where she attended school and graduated from Lincoln High School.

Kathleen Elizabeth Tresner, 70, transitioned to heaven July 24, 2020. Kathleen was born in Junction City, Kan. April 28, 1950 to Alvin and Jewell Lavon Erichsen (Lake). In 1964, the family moved to Ellsworth, Kan. Kathleen resided in Ellsworth until she entered college in 1968. While at Ft.

William John “Bill” Korinek, 72, of Lyons, passed away July 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 16, 1948 in Ellsworth, Kan., the son of John and Dorothy Buckley Korinek. Bill has resided in Lyons since 1996, formerly of Buhler and Ellsworth.

EJ Rohr passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Hays, Kan.Sept. 27, 1958 to Edward and Charlene (Sander) Rohr of Ellsworth, Kan. EJ was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and owner/operator of Rohr’s Studios manufacturing in Chicago for 40 years.

Melvin D. Arensman, 87, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, in Salina, Kan. He was born Aug. 27, 1932 in Ellsworth, Kan. to Fred H. and Mary Louise (Seyfert) Arensman. Melvin was a lifetime resident of Ellsworth County where he was a farmer and rancher. He served in the U.S.

On June 29, 2020, Marilyn K. Mattas passed away from pancreatic cancer. She was born Jan. 31, 1940 in Wilson, Kan. to Edward and Mary Malir. She married Richard Mattas on June 6, 1964 and relocated to Mt. Vernon, Mo., where they raised three children together.

Dwaine L. Pruitt, 84, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 in Ellsworth, Kan. He was born March 23, 1936 in Lyons, Kan. to Alfred and Dorothy (Johnson) Pruitt. Dwaine married Betty Schneider in Lyons, Kan. May 15, 1955. He later married Lois Trapp April 14, 2007 in Ellsworth, Kan.

Danellda ‘Dee’ A. Parrish, 70, died July 8, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 17, 1949, in Ellsworth, to Karl G. and Danellda L. (Lange) Pflughoeft.   Dee was a 1967 graduate of Ellsworth High School and 1971 graduate of Kansas State University.

Donley J. Bristow, 79, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at his home in Wilson, Kan. He was born Dec. 1, 1940 to Novie and Anna (Hubin) Bristow in Larned, Kan. Donley graduated from Jetmore High School in 1958 and from Fort Hays State College with his bachelor’s degree in 1971.
