Ellsworth County is beginning to feel the squeeze as reaction to the coronavirus continues to spread. At Gene’s Heartland Foods, the shelves which ordinarily are home to a supply of toilet paper are bare, and sanitary wipes and other sanitary supplies are in short supply.

Middle school principal takes job

Following an executive session at the March 9 meeting of the Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo USD 327 School District, board members accepted the resignations of Kanopolis Middle School principal Eric Stoddard and Danica Uhl and Susan Miller as fourth grade teachers.
