County, City officials take action on coronavirus

Ellsworth County commissioners took action Wednesday morning to help prevent the eventual spread of the coronavirus in Ellsworth County.  First, a resolution was approved declaring a verbal public health emergency in Ellsworth County.

USD 327 moves forward with proposed projects

The Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo School Board met Monday, March 9, and discussed several projects for school improvement. Among them: The fence around the playground at Ellsworth Elementary School was approved for cleaning and painting.

USD 112 approves configuration study

HOLYROOD — At Monday’s meeting of the Central Plains USD 112 board of education, approval was given to begin a study to determine the best long-term (20-25 years) school configuration for the district to provide a quality educational experience for students.
