Craig Alan Ramsey, 61, passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, in Ellsworth County, Kan. He was born Jan. 12, 1965, in Great Bend, Kan., to Wendell and Eleanor (Siewert) Ramsey. Craig married Patricia Nienke in Great Bend on Aug. 16, 1986. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2008 after 21 years of service. Craig is survived by his children, Jason Ramsey, Sanford, N.C.; Jamie Ramsey, Bellingham, Wash.; and Dustin Ramsey, Mission, Kan.; brother Steve Ramsey (Mary), Jenera, Ohio; and sister-in-law Ellen Kempke (Don), Kanopolis, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Patricia.

Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Family will be present from 6-8 p.m. to greet visitors.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at Parsons Funeral Home, with burial following at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
