(1944-2026)Robert Lee Peterman, 81, of Little River, Kan., passed away June 30, 2026, at his home. He was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Ellsworth, Kan., the son of Ben and Rosaline (Panzer) Peterman. Robert has resided in Little River for the past 30 years, formerly of Lyons and Ellsworth.

(1926-2025)Frances Jean Klema, 98, passed away Sept. 12, 2025, in Honolulu, Island of Oahu, Hawaii. She was born Nov. 30, 1926, to August A. and Amelia A. (Prohaska) Klema.She grew up in Wilson and graduated from Wilson High School in 1944. Other education included Marymount College, Salina, Kan.

She was born Ella Fern Nienke on Feb. 19, 1941, in Ellsworth to William “Richard” Nienke and Ella Ida Haase Nienke. Fern was a lifetime resident of Ellsworth, where she married Wills C.

(1952-2026)William C. “Bill” Spellman, 73, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, in Manhattan, Kan. He was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Holdrege, Neb., to C. Gordon and Doris J. (Alexander) Spellman.Bill married Diane Grady in Dodge City, Kan., on March 25, 1978.
