The day after Ellsworth County commissioners approved a month-long county-wide burn ban yesterday (Monday), Tuesday afternoon, commissioners reversed themselves and rescinded the ban.

Anita Rodriguez of Ellsworth placed these colorful Teddy Bears and Pink Panther in a tree at her home on Aylward Avenue. The Bear Hunt was started so children and adults have something to hunt and count while on walks in the community.

Before Covid-19 ... Central Plains High School musicians competed in the Central Prairie League Music Festival March 10 at Barton Community College. They had excellent results.
