Koch appointed to ECMC board of directors

Rob Koch of Holyrood was appointed to the Ellsworth County Medical Center board of directors during the Dec. 27 meeting of the Ellsworth County commissioners.Koch succeeds Karen Pauley, who resigned her board seat several months ago.

Winter storm hits Ellsworth County

TThe Christmas week storm of 2022 will long be remembered, not only in Ellsworth County, but across the United States.According to Chris Jakub, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wichita, central Kansas experienced wind chills between -31 and -36 degrees Dec. 22.
