Sara Ann (Lemley) Mobley, 59, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, in Downs, Kan. She was born April 29, 1961 in Albuquerque, N.M. to Billy Joe Lemley and Carrie (Jennings) Dickens.

Zella Mary Bubar, 88, was born to James and Grace Bubar Oct. 12, 1932 in St. Albans, Maine. She was the youngest of eight children with siblings: Jarvis, Ruby, Garnett, Allinson, Earl, Merle, and Laurel.

Gary Lee Herber, 75, passed away  Nov. 17, 2020 at his home in Dorrance, Kan. He was born Jan. 17, 1945 in Ellsworth, Kan. to Chester and Ethel (Washburn) Herber. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Wilkerson on Jan. 15, 1966 in Russell, Kan.

Arlen Wayne Janssen, 96, graduated to his heavenly home Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at the Rice County District Hospital in Lyons, Kan. He was born Dec. 24, 1923 at the farmstead two miles north of Lorraine, Kan. to Herman G. and Christina (Steenbock) Janssen.

Todd Tyrone Toman, 61, Hill City, Kan., formerly of Ellsworth, Kan., passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at Hays Medical Center. Todd was born July 27, 1959 in Ellsworth, Kan. to William “Bill” and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Hoopes) Toman.

Julie Ann Britton, 64, of Atwood, Kan., died Nov. 13, 2020. Julie was born in Atwood, Kan. Jan. 8, 1956. She was the youngest daughter of William Walter Sawer and Erma Kathleen (Chvatal) Sawer. She was the sister of James Sawer and Carol Brown.

Leola B. Neuschafer, age 99 of Herington, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at Legacy at Herington. Leola’s life began Dec. 13, 1920 in rural Ellsworth County, Kansas.  She was the daughter of Albert and Ella (Pflughoeft) Haase.   Leola attended St.

LeRoy D. Hogan, 97, died Nov. 10, 2020, at Brookdale Senior Living, Great Bend, Kan. He was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Rural Barton County Kansas, the son of Patrick A. and Wilhelmina D. (Eggers) Hogan.

Loris “Vernon” Davis, 90, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, in Lincoln. He was born June 3, 1930 in McDonald, Kan. to Sewell Willis Davis and Mary Ellen (Buck) Davis. Vernon served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954 then made a 26 year career as a Trooper with the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Myron H. Kornmeyer, 79, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at his home in Wilson, Kan. He was born Nov. 10, 1940 in Waldo, Kan. to Howard and Blanche (Hubbard) Kornmeyer. Myron grew up in Waldo and attended the Waldo school district. He was united in marriage to Janiece Pejsha Oct.
