USD 112 talks insurance

HOLYROOD — A brief preliminary review of insurance choices for the former Central Plains Middle School building in Bushton was given to the Central Plains USD 112 board of education Monday during the monthly meeting at Central Plains Elementary School in Holyrood.

Family Reunion Bailey Family The descendants of Martin Luther and Annetta (Livingston) Bailey gathered June 9 at the Ellsworth Senior Center for the annual Bailey Family Reunion. Memories, pictures and food were shared throughout the afternoon with the 77 family members in attendance.

Two more budget requests for 2020 were presented to Ellsworth County commissioners Monday during their weekly meeting. Sheriff Murray Marston submitted a 2020 budget request of $1,492,195.20 — nearly 13 percent higher than the $1,300,000 budget presented for 2019.
