The Ellsworth boys kicked off this tournament week Monday afternoon with a win against Plainville, 57-52.
The boys’ and girls’ teams are in Russell for the annual Amos Morris Basketball Classic.
The Bearcats next action in the tournament will be today (Thursday) against the Russell Broncos.
