Keep the food donations coming

In reaction to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many events and activities have been either cancelled or postponed — both here and across the nation. One of those is the National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive conducted annually in May. It has been postponed until further notice.

Cases are assigned by address

On April 7, Ellsworth County reported its first case of COVID-19. However, that report was reversed minutes later. Kerianne Ehrlich, supervisor of the county health department, gave a brief review on that reversal at the April 9 meeting of the county’s local emergency planning committee.
