Covid-19 has certainly heightened our awareness of the potential for deadly disease to run through the population. The very idea of a pandemic seemed far away from American shores until it wasn’t.

Contrary to what some of the pundits may say, America is a land of benevolent, compassionate and giving people as is evidenced by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Actually, this spirit is nothing new to our nation.
