Oilers lose to Kiowa County 48-0

The Central Plains High School Oilers football team lost another road game Nov. 1, being defeated by Kiowa County at Greensburg, 48-0 in eight-man, Division One play. Oilers head coach Chris Steiner and the green and black finished the season with a 2-7 record for 72nd place in the state.

Dorrance Homemakers Dorrance Homemakers met Oct. 8 at Woelks Expresso in Russell. Members recited the Flag Salute and KAFCE Creed. Roll call was answered by Joyce Langhofer with a joke, exercising 60 hours and 40 minutes of exercise and her favorite game is Dominoes.

The Agricultural Foreign Investment Disclosure Act requires all foreign owners of U.S. agricultural land to report their holdings to the Secretary of Agriculture. The Farm Service Agency administers this program for USDA.
