KDOT set for winter

Most people in the state are hoping for less snow this winter, but regardless of what Mother Nature has in store, the Kansas Department of Transportation has done its best to be prepared. Parts of Kansas, including Ellsworth on Monday, have already received flurries, and more are expected this week.

The Ellsworth City Council accepted a recommendation by the city housing board Monday and approved a list of five properties to be rehabilitated and six properties to be demolished in Ellsworth.
