Ellsworth wrestlers qualify for stateEllsworth Bearcat wrestlers Bradley Vopat, 160 lbs., and Will Donley, 113 pounds, each won third place in their respective weight class at the regional wrestling tournament in Hillsboro. They advanced to the state competition Feb. 26 at Hays.

The Central Plains Jr./Sr. High School Lady Oiler varsity basketball team finished last year with a 25-1 record and the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 1A, Division II state championship for the eighth-straight year.This year, the Lady Os are off to a 2-2 start so far.

The Wilson Dragon basketball teams traveled to Lincoln to face the Leopards Dec. 16.The Lady Dragons took the floor first against the 2-3 Leopards. The first quarter started a little rough with Wilson being down by one, 10-11.

The Central Plains Jr./Sr. High School Lady Oiler basketball team put one in the win column Dec. 13 by defeating St. John 45-35 at home.
