USD 112 students reveal eye-opening stats

CLAFLIN — Superintendent Greg Clark related some eye-opening statistics on risk factors faced by Central Plains district students Monday during the monthly meeting of the USD 112 board of education at Central Plains Junior-Senior High School in Claflin.

Ellsworth and Wilson support community blood drives

Fifty-five units of blood were donated August 23 during the American Red Cross community blood drive in Ellsworth at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. The drive was in memory of Tom Renard, a dedicated blood donor, who received many units of blood during his fight with cancer.
